“I am a clay artist who began my art training as a painter and production potter. Both of these interests influence my sculptural work. Surfaces have a painterly quality and the pieces are often interactive in some way. Making pots has helped to develop my interest in the intimate connection between objects and the object user. The importance of daily rituals and how these rituals bring value to your life should be celebrated. I use images from the natural world and repetition of shape to explore environmental concerns and issues concerning personal health.” Ginger Freeman
